Promise Ring Poem by Cati Walthall

Promise Ring

When I took the ring
I made a promise I cannot break
A promise that I keep
Even after the day I cannot breathe
I will always love you
Even when you don't love me
I will always wish for the best for you
Even if I'm your worst enemy
I can never love another
Like I love you
I can never feel about someone
Like the way I feel about you

But, When you put this ring on my finger
You promised me the same
So please stay with me forever
Because you are my everything
