Promise yourself
That it's not that bad
Just remember
All the good times you've had

Promise your family
And all your friends
You've got a circle
That never ends

Promise your life
That you'll reach that age
Just keep on turning
To the very last page

Promise the world
That you'll be there
Making a difference
Trying to make things fair

And this is a promise that I give to you
To turn you yellow if you ever feel blue! !
