Promise Poem by Lilyann Monahan

Promise

Rating: 0.5

I won't tell our secret,
I carry it in my heart.
Until the very day I die,
my soul, you are a part.
Love with limits is my cross,
unless I can submit.
To God I love so much.
Until with guilt I sit,
he promises to love me,
without limits up above,
I worry that his promise is,
to take away his love.
