Profanity And Profundity Poem by Mary Jesusa Villegas

Profanity And Profundity

The confidence
that glittered
in the verge of
Innocence and
the flowers that
blossomed
Its smell
stayed in my nose
a perfume of inspiration

Heart overflowing
Yesterday's fears disappearing
I've found once again
The joy of drawing

If it weren't for my anxiety
Will not be as beautiful
Than it is today
The scenery

If I am me
when I have audience
and also when
There is none I am
not a miser anymore
Then
'Liberty'
sings my soul

There is only
one stop left
in this journey is
to tie it all over
in one tapestry
Transformation and inner wisdom
it gives me
Sweet serendipity
