Problems Poem by Brandon Owens

Problems

There's problem with my brain
It's melted and layin' on the floor
There's a problem with my heart
Its exploded and all the pieces are far apart
The mice run off with bits of it
And the cats are lickin' up my brain
Instead of chasing after them
There's a problem in my soul
I'm missing the piece that would make it whole
And there's a problem with my body
It's out of energy
When did it get so lazy
I don't know what to do anymore
Now that your gone

I've got a problem with my eyes
I can't see through your lies
I've got a problem with my ears
I still can't hear the truth
And it's been a couple of years
I've got a problem with my problems
No one is trying to solve them
And I know that
I'm not the only one that's got 'em
I can't wait on you forever
So I set out some mouse traps
And laid out milk for the cats
