Pristine Moon Poem by Alfred Ramos

Pristine Moon

Rating: 5.0

Last night I was looking at the moon
It reminding me of a pearl in the sky
Surrounded by twinkling diamonds
As soft clouds brushed on by

Nightingales sang their evening tune
As if serenading this pristine moon

A wishing star zooms by
I think I heard an angel cry

Fireflies dance to a tingling wind chime song
Making me forget all that is wrong

I know that for several more nights
I will get to soar to greater heights
