Priorities Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Priorities

When it comes to deciding what to do
with my day…pay the bills that are due
or clean the house after eating breakfast
Both are major things that add up to very last

Each minute of the day is like an allowance
Benefiting the recipient who appreciates abundance
Priorities are measured by degrees of importance...
Listed in order.. topped with the least of annoyance

Enjoy summer's balmy breezes… avoid lighting strikes
Blogging and reading books surface as favorable likes
Satisfying my need to express self and escape familiarity
Learning how to juggle necessary tasks with dexterity
