Princess Spring Poem by Terry Hoffman

Princess Spring

Rating: 5.0

Father Winter is departing;
Princess Spring is coming forth.
She's arriving from the south,
while he is going north.

She has her magic wand all set
for opening up each sprout.
All it takes is one small touch
for each to blossom out.

She strolls across the warm, sweet earth
and the grasses all spring up,
reaching for the warm bright sun and
rain drops that are their sup.

With her regal, flowing cloak,
she enwraps each nestling small
and each newborn thing on earth,
encouraging them all.
