Princess (Haiku) Poem by Tailor Bell

Princess (Haiku)

Rating: 5.0

Anticipation
Opens a bloom near my reach
Untouched yet the heat

Illumination
Unfolds a radiant scene
Awake yet in dream

Tailor, I am left speechless.... But alas Sir... Please look in the mirror.. Do you see what I would see? A kind and gentle soul filled with compassion. Thank you Tailor, thank you so much. I am going to take this a place it on my desk. For you will always brighten my day when I look upon these words. Forever in thy debt Patricia

Two very illuminating haiku's fit for a princess indeed Tailor. Each as it's own shining light and combined they sparkle. Nice work, smiling at you, Tai

Was wondering why its a haiki, maybe its a female version. This is a lovely dedication to a lovely poet. 'Splendid' in true Patricia style! Preets

I don't like these sort of pieces as a rule. I feel that westerners use them to make quips or to seem clever. They always strike me as being lazy with a profoundness attatched to the idleness. This, however, gives me pause for thought. You have achieved a real sense of beauty and captured an essence in this. I get the feeling that this was not a quick hack work, but something that had a lot of care put into it. You should be congratulated for making me look at the for anew with this wonderful composition.

This haiku is so poetically beautiful, seems to be absorbed straight into the mind filled with vivid imagery and definition. Absolutely love this one! Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn

Yeah, you certainly have the knack for the ku. I occasionally try my hand at this form, but usually come up short. Patricia must indeed be worthy of the multi-gemmed tiara.
