Princess Poem by Pavithra Sahadevan

Princess

The dark deep woods stare at her arrival,
With the feathers on,
A careful watch!

The cuckoo narrates,
Her Fly towards the sky,
Marked a star shinning bright!

The stars three in line,
Indicates her way of life,
Her birth, her ladyhood and now
Her hop..... A long one,
Towards the other end of the sky,
Yet still bright!

She's a princess in her own way,
Ruling her people through her eyes,
Her style kindles the soul,
Rich as it feels!

Sparrows lost their way through,
Just the smile of hers!

My gal! you are mine!
Held the drops!
The touch would make her dance,
Here you are,
Only mine!
Shouted the rain!
