In a beautiful kingdom
Far away
A handsome prince awaits
He stands on the balcony
All alone
Staring longingly at the gates
The sun rises
And it sets
Then it rises again
But still he stands on the balcony
All alone
Wondering how she'd get here
And when
And then the sound of hoof beats
Rang in his ear
As the excitemen he felt
Quickly turned to fear
His princess was coming
She was almost here
And he couldn't wait
To draw her near
The gates open wide
She rides inside
And a hint of a smile
Spreads across his face
A smile he could not hide
He ran down the stairs
And pulled her close
And he knew in his heart
That he would never be alone again
Because she would always be there.
