Prince Charming Poem by Melissa Gray

It's the story everyone has read,

The fairytale when two lovers wed,

I've read that story a thousand times,

And I wonder when that will someday be mine,



We've never even met, I don't know who you are,

But you've got me wishing on my lucky star,

It seems like every day I'm thinking about when we're going to meet,

How we're going to see each other and how we're going to greet,



I'm too young to be dreaming about you now,

But I can't help but wonder how,

How we can be so close and yet so far,

Everyday I wonder how you are,



Deep back in my mind I wonder if you're already here,

If I already know who you are,

Wouldn't that be exciting?

To have already met my Prince Charming.
