Priests Poem by Joel Garland

Priests

Rating: 5.0

A carcass'd maze
Death carnage  for which they graze
A coldness brought
Death welcomed and sought

A frenzied feast
Blood stained  teeth
The death of many
Their appetite unceased

Callous and unfeeling
Heads hang from the ceiling
Emotionless and staring
Ruthless and uncaring

An underground darkness
Liars and molesters
Young Victims to find
Like drinking the cup of the priests
Tainted wine

I get the feeling you are not a fan of the Catholic church... polemic, but written with conviction.
