Pride Poem by Elannia Lake

Pride

Pride is blinding, noticeable
And unable to be ignored
It smells putrid to all but the wearer
Who believes it is loved by everyone
Pride is a gong
That lets all know it is present
It feels overshadowing to others
While the owner is euphoric
And lets all people know it
Pride is worn with confidence
Shown off to all
