Previous Memories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Previous Memories

Riding expressively into sunsets of unlimited beauty,
watching landscapes of previous memories pass slowly
by.
Sensing fragrances of those who have died, holding
their memories so close that my heart aches, tears
fill my eyes, my soul reaches ever gently out for
them.
Knowing only that one day we'll be together again
stills my mind temporarily - until next time.
