Prevailing Fright
Staggering feat of terror
Illuminating distress
Panic swells up inside
It senses your fear
Remain insouciant
Stealthily conceal it
Angst at a pin dropping
Turn around
But don't look any longer
It is coming closer
Dash out the window -
Run for your life
They've caught you
Now there's nothing to do
Your fright has prevailed
