Pretty Young Wife Poem by Walid Boureghda

Pretty Young Wife

Rating: 5.0

Like a gentle leaf falling in an autumn morn,
Like a smooth snow falling in a winter day,
Like in a spring eve, a subtle breeze adorn;
Like a glittering star falling in a summer night.

Like all of these, I consider you to be.
You are the real shelter for my miserable heart,
In which I can find true confort and warm
To all the terrible journeys I had from the start.

Listening to the melodies of your song,
And apprehending the words you focus on
Makes me believe that you do trust in the love
Of a mother to her babyborn.

A very tender poem, written from the heart as all good poetry should be, I enjoyed reading it, thanks, Lynda x
