You said that you were a lazy boyfriend
well to you sure, that may be,
But did those words ever get said out loud
if so it wern't from me.

I only ever was honest when i said i loved you
and that i missed you loads,
I never expected you to be like this
it's not how the fairytale goes.

I wanted to be the one to make you happy
but i guess for you that cannot be,
I gave you everything i possibly could
even the unknown side of me.

I opened up my heart to you
i believe now was my biggest mistake,
After all you said the other night
i'm ashamed i can actually break.

After swearing, no, never me
and yet here i am today,
I can understand how i've turned into just
another Preditor turned to Prey.
