Predicting Ones Life Poem by Donna Nimmo

Predicting Ones Life

Rating: 5.0

If I could see my life early on
I don't think I could have lived, but been gone
If I could see all the pain there was to be
I would have been so frightened, I would flee
But I've never had a crystal ball
God picked me up whenever I'd fall
Life is a game of russian roulett
And quite a gamble if your'e willing to bet
I'm half way through my life and its been hard
I've had to live each day on guard
Some memories painful, some filled with joy
I've been loved and I've been someone's toy
Most of it I wouldn't want to relive
A few times, oh what I wouldn't give
They say we all have our cross to bare
In my life it's not always been fair!
