Precisely In Love Poem by Edgar Andrade Baguio

Precisely In Love

A strong adage from the sun riser
Once indulged the mind of this miser
'Keep the kite away from its flyer's will
So its beauty can shine towards a thrill!
One can't see its majestic position
While holding in the arms of protection'

So there we both decided and affixed
Everything as if the contradictions mixed
With vicious flaws and a pure harmony
Was it the grace of the matrimony?
That kept our lives precisely in love?
Yes dear, looks like a flying dove
Carefree yet so determined to fly back
To where it first learnt the basic soundtrack
Of this and that, of life and after life
Even the fatherhood of a lone wife

Now that those are remotely distant past
Like the Babylon's museum the outcast
Why are you still in love again like dew?
And kept bugging me to be near you
Even asked me to bind my vocal cords
Then loose it towards your flash records
To fill your ears with my decibel's voice
Even though the gadgets left me no choice
But to be content with these lines sublime
That paint pictures of couple in their prime
Waiting a good timing to be online
For another chat destined to incline

Lest we forget those old lines that excite
Reminds both of us, 'Who's holding the kite? '
So, please know and be assured that either
A kite or flyer, we're in good weather
Still those paradoxes we've done above
Proofs indeed we are precisely in love!
