Precious Baby Poem by Jennifer Colyne Hall

Precious Baby

Precious baby

A gift for you

The best welcome for TaiRii

A rocking chair of wood

Each evening as you awoke

I came to gaze upon your soft tender face

Lying in a small bed of chesnut oak

Looking up at me with eyes of grace

I promptly changed your layette

Warming your milk, as this time is ours

Wrapped snug and warm in your blanket

I sat rocking my precious baby for hours

Holding sweet baby in my arms

I sing to you a lullaby

My voice filled with kisses and charm

Blue skies await, don't you cry

Stay little precious baby

I'm here for you

The absolute best for TaiRii

Stay little as long as you can
