Prayer Of Dreaming Day Poem by Hameed Kashigar

Prayer Of Dreaming Day

In the prayer of dreaming day,
With specks of spiritual light,
Whims and woes find their way,
Painful sighs spring eternal delight;

In the lasting lyric of loneliness,
And music of sweetest sorrow,
Find the harmony of tender togetherness,
As how "today" raises hope of "tomorrow";

In the lasting lyric of loneliness,
Where silent sight spreading endlessly,
I saw the liquid luster of someone's absence,
Where feelings flowing restlessly;

In the piercing fire of sorrowful passion,
Where soul sours above earthly veil,
Intoxication dispels rays of awful reason,
Enchained heart finds nothing but zeal.
