Prayer Needs Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Prayer Needs

Rating: 5.0

Prayers won't help
As we have shamed ourselves
We have turned ghettos on earth
Pushing all innocents to death

You were give pure and holy land
To live as disciples and friend
What have you done as human being?
To help people and bring about

We are all sinful souls
Respond to no inner call
Go for greedy approach
'Wild animals' we are called as such

Prove your conduct by deeds
Of course prayer needs
Sincere change over
Then ask for holy cover

You bow down
With wishes known
That you really curse
Past deeds with remorse

Beg for change
And manage
With earnest request
To help for the best
