Prayer For Clarity Poem by Sandra Feldman

Please, Per favore,
Let the fog of misunderstanding,
And forked tongue,
Not veil my thoughts and words,
I want to be sincerely clear,
Not 'perfectly clear', like the Riddle Makers,
That so often are Political Fakers,
The terrible dehumanized Joker,
That at the table of life, plays Poker.

I want to communicate, Clearly,
Sincerely, with all the Truth,
That can eliminate all falsehood,
And History's dark past.

I want to be the torch,
Not the torturing cast,
Of a film that came in last,
A story of abuse,
That has lasted too long,
A story of treachery and lies,
Benefiting, the tyrannical few.

I pray,
For Clarity, Truth, Sincerity and Love,
Maybe then true life can start Anew.
