Prayer

Our Most Glorious
Heavenly Father
As we humbly bow
Kneel and gather
Before thee
We pray that thy comfort
To stay in our hearts
And cast away fears
In our distressed minds
We give thee our love
And sincere thanks
To your gentle helper
Our guardian angel
This time we ask Lord
For your guidance
And safe protection
To all our love ones
All these things we pray
In the name of Jesus Christ
Our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
