Prayer Poem by Shijo Jose

Prayer

Call angels to aid
To do our devilish deeds
Should have always known
Memoirs come waste my life

Living a clock's life
The same story everyday
Everything's getting in the way
Thoughts turn into insomnia

Can shut up and forget
Blame all things on you
Shatter down into pieces
Tell me what not to do

Maybe call an ambulance
Hope to fix my heart
Filter tears the times I cry
Even bring out the sun

Shine in old lost glory
Pause like a grandfather clock
Reverse fate, rewind my fall
Back to the mistakes

Chance to think again
Better things I could've done
Prevent return of this pain
Prayers carry me tomorrow
