Pray For Those In Prisons As If You Were Imprisoned With Them Poem by Mduduzi OneMind

Pray For Those In Prisons As If You Were Imprisoned With Them

Rating: 5.0

Pray for those in agony as if you were in their position of
depression.

Plead for those in solitary detention as if you yourself
were a prisoner of isolation.

Pray for those in poverty in such a way that you plant
yourself in their misfortune.

Appeal for those in suffering as if you were shipping their
anguish in your shoulders.

Pray for the homeless as if there was no roof over your
head.

For countless moments we verbalize without
comprehending the hurt of others.

So take hold of a second now.

Pray for the jobless, us, the wrecked souls, failures of this
world, pray as if our hearts were beating inside your
chest.

So you would understand our daily feelings.
