Pray Poem by Bing Hua

Pray

I pray to God
For an axe
To chop the earth into two rowboats
One carries you
One carries me
The one carrying you goes west
And the one carrying me goes east
They move in their own directions
And never turn back

Thus
Let us, you and I
Part forever.
