Powerless
This isn't my battle;
Your heart was never mine to lose.
I can only watch your struggles,
Powerless from the edge.
I cannot heal the broken
Nor save the damned,
Can never take your pain away.
I can only watch,
Powerless,
As you lie bleeding
Far beyond my reach.
