Powerless Poem by Amy Serhienko

Powerless

I am powerless.
at my desk,
unable to work,
no current to my laptop.
My mind wanders...
fleeting visions of you,
and I am powerless.

I see your face -
stubbled cheeks,
dark eyes,
lips parted -
poised between my thighs,
and I am powerless.

I see your fingers -
long and thin,
fingertips moist -
tasting of my wetness,
and I am powerless.

I see your body -
lithe and lean,
taut and dark -
thrusting up to enter mine,
and I am powerless.

The current turns back on,
but I am still powerless.
