Potpourri Poem by doug bentley

Potpourri

Rating: 5.0

(i)

we don't have real pleasure.
we don't have real pain.

we just have.

(ii)

60's flower power
has turned gestapo terror.

narcissus
in the looking glass.

cruel, cruel parents we;
our generation's legacy.

(iii.)

when will the we
generation discover me?

i
have been waiting
for you.

(iv.)

if life's a lesson
there are times

i'd like to drop out
