Potatoes Bubble Away Poem by Lance Mead

Potatoes Bubble Away

Potatoes bubble away
Roast again its Sunday
Peas sitting on the hob
The smell makes my heart throb

But its the gravy that makes the dish
To make your mouth water is one wish
Its the gravy that makes the day
Without it throw the roast away

Yorkshire pudding under the grill
Can you refuse, try your will
Make your gravy with juice from your meat
What better flavoring can you beat

So make your gravy nice and thick
And grab your share o so quick
Gravy like this won't last long
Ill sell this to Bisto, their new song
