Postcard Magic Poem by Marilyn Lott

Postcard Magic

Rating: 5.0

I suppose folks don’t send them
The way they used to do
But I remember getting postcards
I’m sure you have gotten them too

They kept folks up-to-date
On others’ goings on
Vacations were described
And relationships grew strong

Why, they even sent postcards
To celebrate holidays
It was a way to keep in touch
I love those old-fashioned ways

I guess most of us have them
To thumb through and smile
I still send many postcards
As I drive my vacation miles

Oh sure, they get lost and tossed
And that’s okay by me
But they really are quite magical
I still get them occasionally!
