Post Christmas Day
All the fun I had on Christmas Day
Left a feeling of 'too much' play.
I saw all the gift wraps
On my table.
I could not feel able
To feel so happy anymore.
It seemed all the fun
Was the fun I was 'supposed' to have.
And though I did have fun
It didn't quite feel like it.
There's now still New Year's to come
And the regular days will return.
Thank goodness.
