Positive Light Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Positive Light

Rating: 5.0

Got to make it through this life
As a positive light
Shining in the darkness
Of manipulative fear.

Don't be a slave
To certain prejudices,
Don't allow societal values
To limit your growth
As a human being
With the power to believe
In the higher possibilities of love.

Never be consumed
With anger or hate,
Never hesitate
To see the goodness
In somebody else's eyes.

The goal is to make it to the grave
Only after being a gift to those who survive;
Never allow it legitimately be spoken of you
It would be better for the world
For him to die soon.
