nakedly I read my book

on Pompeii
(hiding a part of me)

that is
...private.

You, magnificently
tanned all over

making my Vesuvius
threaten to erupt

as your breasts
sway and cut a gentle swathe

across my aching vision.

The book...rising
unbidden.
