Poisoned By Memory Poem by Brooke Moran

Poisoned By Memory

Rating: 4.5

I remember when you past me by...
I remember when my glimpse caught you in my eye...
No oxygen no air nothing but a solid stare...
I remember that feeling that never stopped running threw the soles of my feet...
It was such a nerve recking uncontrolable heart beat...
I remember living threw those days...
I remember when everything changed...
Karma chased me like I was a creep...
What ever I did where ever I turned it fallowed me...
So I was careful for my manners...
Yes I remember feeling a flatter under my chest...
That memory is like a deadly kiss
I remember feeling poisoned....
Posined by for an increadible reason...
Hardly any words were spoken to us each...
But that was okay because it would make me feel weak...
I remember my knees giving a quake
I remember how many times you took my breath away
Away away and away if flew....
But that doesnt matter...
Because I still have one more breath to say I'll always care...
and I'm always here...
When ever you need me....
I'll be there.

The title is a little strange for this poem, but I guess it had to have one. They all do. But the writing was the outstanding trait of this piece and it demonstrated that this girl can write. She may just be a novelist someday. I can see her doing that. Good stuff. But the real treat was the writer's performance. GW62
