Poets, Do You Agree? Poem by Sandra Feldman

Poets, Do You Agree?

Rating: 4.7

They call Them eccentric,
Just to be kind,
Poets are strange ones,
Always trying to find,
The Light in Illusions,
That live only in their mind.

I'm speaking for all the other poets - YES, WE AGREE! And we assume the title ECCENTRIC with pride. You wrote this very carefully - that we poets seek the Light of Illusions that live in our minds. That's where everyone lives, but they do not acknowledge it. There is always a monologue going on in our heads. We poets go one step further and turn that inner speech into poems... Your poem shows faith in the Light Within - It will shine forever.

Yes, the poets seek to see the 'light in the illusions' that live in their minds. For that if one calls them eccentric, so be it!

Poets do tend to be eccentric by societies standards but that's just living proof that, that which is not understood is often mocked. Poets dare to dream in different ways of different things in a unique view. It's not something that the mainstream truly understands. Wonderful write Sandra. Magnificent. :)

You could say that (and you did, you did)
