Poets Beware Poem by Sandra Feldman

Poets Beware

Rating: 3.9

When you bare and open feelings,
Pull the skin off sentiment,
You're in danger of infection,
And so vulnerable to pain!

Poets tend to open further,
Their most being's private sense,
So their open to infection,
Caused by their own, innocence.

It's not good to bare your feelings,
Nor to sincere preference,
Weakness is to the beholder,
Poet dreamer, sans defense.

Writing poetry gives us the freedom to bare our souls.

It's very true with a real poet but can't help the same, Bcz, the more the poet is exposed to pains and sorrows the more the poet can excel...... good cautioning
