Poetry, Poetry, Poetry Poem by Mockingjay Mellark

Poetry, Poetry, Poetry

Poetry, poetry, poetry
What mote must I seem
Trying to understand ye
You are so vast
Ye cover all the world
Yet into your depths I have hurled
Brazenly I've lifted my quill
And I've tried to enter your ranks
But you've been accepting
And for this i give thanks
You're old as the world
And you've touched a million souls
A million hearts and minds
Young and old, tough and weak-all different kinds
So tell me
Poetry
How can I hope to be worthy if ye
Whisper louder, I can not heat-
Oh! Live your life and ye shall see
