The earth has a great gift for love,
But the sky! The sky’s merciless.
Immortality of the earth is the grass,
Immortality of the sky – a verse.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The second line, the sky as merciless, makes this poem for me. I never thought of the sky in that term before, but your poem gave me a new way of seeing.

Yes I do believe that verses are liberated into the sky and thus take on another dimension; The act of wrting thoughts down gives form to your thinking. Nice thoughtful poem, and succint.
