It leads to the whims
And fancies of the poet

Some are more aggressive
And say poetry is prohibited

As it is far from reality
And highly imaginative

This is one side of the coin
And the view is very myopic

Life is very complicated
So poetry is

It is very difficult to define
And man to man poetry varies

To some it is meant to celebrate
To some it meant to express

Joy, sorrow and happiness
Above all human intricacies

Poetry is here, poetry is there
Poetry is everywhere

Poetry is poetry was poetry will be in future
For its own inherent qualities
