Poetic Mind Diary #1 Poem by Kaleb Gonzalez

Poetic Mind Diary #1

Now as i give you my confession,
i never learn the lesson,
love is more than a word its an expression,
now the relapse of my memory is causing my regression,
she became a virus an infection,
broke down my walls so i had no protection,
a fatal bullet, that ended i,
clipped my wings so i couldnt fly,
death isn't as cold as this,
my mind clouded by a heavy mist,
many figures behind the haze,
but now their gone, trapped behind a maze
i search i search but can never find,
the one i envision in my mind,
i relapse in circles, round i go,
time is fast but my brain is slow,
starting to lose, everything i had,
but getting everything i wanted, so why im i mad,
maybe it is because what i want isnt wat i need,
and my life is affected by my greed,
should i go on, and look for whats next,
or stand on the mark, because the treasure is under the x,
but the decision left changing, so how can i choose,
i lost thrice, how much more can i lose

'time is fast but my brain is slow'...i so relate to this. I can't keep up with everything that goes on.Never fully grasping things in the moment and always a step behind in trying to take the right things out of an experience. Great stuff. im really digging you flow.
