Words on paper, thoughts expose
Check the grammar and typos
Begin to write; see how it goes

Outline theme and subject matter
Will it offend; or will it flatter
Tears of grief or joys of laughter
Keep it short or lots of chatter

Bad marriage versus love affair
Plenty wealth versus poor welfare
Sweet dreams versus bad nightmare
Inspiration is everywhere!

Many snippets I have penned
Words I cannot comprehend
So much time left to expend
