Poet's Love Poem by Aric Beers

Poet's Love

I can't get her off my mind
No matter how hard I try
She's always there, she's all I find
To say I don't enjoy it would be a lie
But how many poems will I write
How many times will the same things be said
Before you see a different sight
Before she's more than a thought in my head
How come it's so easy to write about how I feel
How can it be so easy to talk about her
There are other things just as real
So many things of which to be sure
Am I too focused on this wonderful girl
Of all the things why do I chose this
Why do I focus so much on a single pearl
Is love the only place that I find bliss

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
She's been on my mind so much but it makes me wonder, how come it's so easy to write about love? How come other topics seem to take the back seat?
