Poet Of Sense
As a poet
who writes sense
on a scale from 1 to 10,
1 the mini-
mum,
I'm less of a poet to
some
the further along I get,
and less read
the closer I am to 1.
They tell me to aim for 5
to be read more.
I tell them, 'Then
I wouldn't be one
for 1,2,3 and 4,
and 6 and 7
and 8 and 9 and 10.'
