Poem No: 14. O Listen To Me! Do Not Disturb Him Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

O listen to me! do not disturb him
As he is sleeping after a long time.
On the river bank in the fresh sunlight
Now his face looks so innocent and bright.

With his soulmate when he'd walk together,
They seemed to be a true pair of future.
Surely they were born just for each other
But the girl died of an unknown fever.

Then the boy became companionless.
His heart brimm'd with extreme unhappiness.
Finally he left caring for his heart.
Last night his soul went to meet his sweetheart.

O my dear friends! do not try to go there
As he is sleeping at peace in fresh air.
