Poem For A Naughty Librarian Poem by David Kowalczyk

Poem For A Naughty Librarian

Rating: 4.9

Kissing you
was like drinking
mango nectar
from the marble breasts
of Venus de Milo.

Though I must confess:
more delicious,
far more thrilling, and
infinitely more
miraculous.

What? Sex in the library? Like Claude Raines in Casablanca, 'I am Shocked! Shocked...! ' Try my poem called 'Poem', one called 'Soliloquy', and my poem called 'Night Library'. I do think you will confirm that you cannot just tell the book by its cover. Oh, and then there is 'American Gothic' which is a spoof on both the painting, and those oh-so-suggestive book covers. You know the ones. They are all over the supermarket racks. Chick Lit we call them. Enjoy! And tell me what you think. Val, one of the Librarians
