Plinth Poem by robert dickerson

Plinth

March light, the sun fan-like in Pisces, the annual ebullience.
how we feel better with a little UVB.
Catastrophe and elegances unfurled.
Energy to conjugate a verb. 'te quiero'. Not like the girl
who discovered her brother was her father
and couldn't get out of bed. 'Te quiero', clutch
of amphorae from the sea's bottom stuck
with volvulus and nacres expensive and expressive, I
must have you.
