Something has to give when the trying gives pleasure and pain
Something has to be given back when I stand and stare in the eyes of something so right
When this desire burns through my flesh
I will water your eyes with tears
Don't ask me why I hang around. I am just passing time
But my heart has a feeling I can overcome your ignorance
Don't look at me with love in your eyes and confusion
I have nothing to give you
What I gave once was neglected now I am only passing time

Your beauty does not make me want to touch
Your heart does make me want to kiss
When you touch its no longer the same, I feel your heart shaking
I see yours eyes loving
I hear your words stutter

I should try and give it another chance
But when a heart has been neglected you hold on to the good
But the bad mirrors the image of being burnt
